Hours: 9.45pm – 7.45am
Holiday Entitlement: Year 1 – 33 days (247.5 hours) inclusive of bank holidays rising to 38 days (285 hours)

Do you want to make a difference? Seashell Trust is an outstanding registered residential School and College for children and young people with complex learning disabilities, physical disabilities and multisensory impairments.

We are recruiting talented and passionate Residential Night Support Workers for our waking nights support across our Children’s, Young People’s and also our Short Breaks/Respite Services (age range from 3-25 years old).


The waking night hours are 9.45pm – 7.45am
Full flexibility over 7 nights is required. Bank positions are also available (£9.29 per hour  - rate includes holiday pay).


- ensure that the safety and individual needs of each child / young person are met over the night period
- personal care needs, supporting residents if they wake in the night
- communicating with residents and recording events/activities as required
- administration of medication (training provided)


- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or level 2 equivalent in literacy and numeracy
- NVQ3 or above in a care related field is required for our Children's Service
- Previous experience within a care environment is preferred but not essential

- Experience supporting people with complex learning difficulties advantageous
- Good communication skills, and be PC literate.

Full Induction will be provided and training offered and we have a structured and clear salary scale depending on qualifications and experience to develop your career
