Residential Support Workers (Children’s and Young Adults’ Homes)

What are we looking for?

• We are recruiting for a number of talented and enthusiastic Residential Support Workers for our children’s and young adults’ homes.
• These roles will work in our fantastic, state of the art 2 and 4 bedroom homes at our single site in Cheadle Hulme near Manchester airport, and will support our children and young adults (3-25 years old).
• Experience working in a care setting supporting people with complex learning disabilities and communication, behavioural and sensory impairments or in a mental health setting is preferred but not essential.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification advantageous but not essential.

What are the roles?

• These are full time and part time permanent roles
• They will involve providing daily care and support for our young people including personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, communication, independent living skills, learning and leisure activities.
• Some challenging behaviours may present, so candidates should be comfortable working in this type of environment.

What are the hours?

• Flexibility over 7 days is required (37.5 hours per week)
• The roles operate on a rotating shift pattern
• The roles will work every other weekend
• We also have part time hours for evenings and weekends, and these roles will also involve working every other weekend (21 hours per week minimum)
